Palm oil-free, this very gentle surfactant is derived from the fatty acids of coconut oil and glutamate, one of the most abundant amino acids in the structural protein (collagen) of human skin. Liquid and slightly viscous, clear to yellowish in color.

Properties : It produces a concentrated, creamy and elastic foam, even in hard water. It gives a silky texture and reduces irritability. It also has excellent safety and biodegradability. It maintains cleaning performance and dispersing power in hard water. Its cleansing power is equivalent to that of fatty acid soaps, but it leaves the skin very soft and fresh. Therefore, it becomes an excellent choice in skin cleansing formulations. It also makes hair supple, silky and easy to comb.

Formulation Tips :
To be used in a formulation with an acidic pH (less than 7.0)
For use with non-ionic surfactants, such as coco glucoside, decyl glucoside and the lauryl glucoside.

Also compatible with cocamidopropyl betaine and creates a very interesting synergy with the sodium cocoyl isethionate.
