Caustic soda for making solid soaps. Sodium hydroxide or caustic soda is a chemical compound obtained by the electrolysis of saline water.
INCI : Sodium hydroxide
Properties: Corrosive, hygroscopic, alkaline. NaOH allows the manufacture of solid soaps (allows saponification).
Usage: Use with all required precautions (mask, glasses, gloves, etc.). Always add NaOH to water and not the other way around. Handle in a ventilated and safe area. External use only, keep out of reach of children or animals. In case of burns, apply vinegar to neutralize.
