Properties: Cleanses oily and acne-prone skin. Interesting ingredient in shampoos and hair lotions to help fight dandruff. This powder can also be used in the composition of “homemade” toothpastes in case of discomfort in the gums or to cleanse the oral cavity. The plant is recognized as a repellent against insects (toxic to them).

Uses of vegetable powders: With few exceptions, plant powders are not soluble in water, although several molecules they contain are. For best results, it is best to extract these molecules in water, alcohol, or even oil (some molecules are fat-soluble).
