Properties: Marie -Baldon seeds contain sylimarine, the active ingredient par excellence to support the liver in its cleaning and regeneration mechanisms. Sylimarine is not soluble in water, but it is soluble in alcohol. To prepare a concentrated dyeing in sylimarin, macerate the powder in the water overnight. Filter and drink the liquid (whitish, rich in protein). Re use the same seeds and macerate them for a month in 50%alcohol. Water "gets rid of the plant of heavier molecules, which allows alcohol to focus on the extraction of sylimarine (more yellowish dye).
