Biotechnological product made from glucose, soy peptones and yeast extracts. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide (large sugar) naturally present in several tissues including the skin. It is responsible for hydration, lubrication and tissue stability. It can hold up to 500 times its weight in water. Odorless, water-soluble white powder with pH between 5 and 8.5 (5% concentrated solution).

INCI : Sodium hyaluronate

GROSS: molecules 1 million Dalton, which allows the formation of a gel

Storage: 3 years if protected from humidity and microbes

Properties: Very powerful moisturizer and humectant, softening, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, promotes the growth of new cells in peeling skin.

Uses: Serums, creams and lotions, sun creams and after sun products, anti-aging and anti-wrinkle products, nourishing, protective and moisturizing products, products for sensitive or dry skin.

Usage: Hyaluronic acid binds very quickly with water to form a gel, which is why it must be added slowly to water while stirring constantly using an electric mixer to obtain a homogeneous product. Too much hyaluronic acid will create clumps because there won't be enough water to bind to it.

Before incorporating hyaluronic acid into a formula or finished product, you must first add it to water to create a gel. However, it does not dissolve easily in water. Sprinkled into water with constant stirring at high speed preferably with a hand mixer or vortex mixer, be careful not to exceed 2%.
