The Carnauba wax organic is a 100% pure and natural vegetable wax, obtained from the leaves of the palm Copernicia cerifera, native to Brazil. Recognized for its high melting point and excellent film-forming power, it is particularly appreciated in makeup products and preparations requiring good hold and a firm texture.

It allows preparations to harden and thicken while improving their resistance to heat. It is particularly ideal for lipsticks, sticks, balms and makeup pencils.

Origin: Brazil. Wax from agriculture organic and Ecocert certified.

Properties:

• Hardening
• High melting point
• Excellent film-forming power
• Improves the heat resistance of sticks and lipsticks
• Improves the hold of lipsticks and makeup pencils
• Helps stabilize and thicken emulsions

Use: Incorporated into the oily phase and melted when hot. Recommended dosage: 1 to 10% of the total weight of the preparation. In emulsions, generally use 1 to 5%, with 1 to 3% usually giving the best results. Melting temperature: 80 to 86°C.

Uses: Lipsticks, lip sticks, deodorant sticks, makeup pencils, mascaras, balms and protective creams for dry and sensitive skin.
