Blend of magnesium ester (magnesium is naturally present in metals) and stearic acid (derived from vegetable fats). Pharmaceutical grade products. Fine white powder with light odor, soluble in hot alcohol and oil, insoluble in water.
INCI : Magnesium stearate
Properties: Whitening and opacifying agent, promotes viscosity, emulsifier (cannot be used alone), lubricant
Uses: makeup, creams and lotions, ointments and ointments
Usage: To be added directly to dry preparations, then to the fatty phase of liquid products (can also be added to hot alcohol).
