Used as an ingredient in your plant-based hair coloring, Katam helps darken shades. Combined with red or copper henna, it covers white hair and brings pretty chocolate highlights to brown and brown hair.

Properties

• Strengthens natural hair coloring
• Used in association with hennas containing Lawsonia inermis (henna from Egypt, Rajasthan and Yemen) to neutralize orange pigments and give a chocolate brown
• Good coloring power on white and gray hair (after a first application of Lawsonia inermis henna), which darkens without yellowing them

On blonde hair

Amber honey: 50% Katam, 50% Red Henna
Dark brown: 100% Egyptian Henna then 100% Katam

On red hair

Ebony black: 100% Rajasthani Henna then 100% Katam

Blueish black: 70% Katam, 30% Walnut Husk

On light brown hair

Deep brown: 100% Egyptian Henna then 100% Katam

Precautions

- Powdery product, do not use near a source of ventilation.
- Staining product, protect clothing during use.
- Avoid contact with eyes; In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- This powder is very active. We advise you to always carry out a test in the crease of the elbow 24 hours before application.
- It is not recommended to carry out chemical bleaching after coloring with natural katam. Indeed, melanin (natural hair pigment) is oxidized by the product, which lightens the base color of the hair, but the pigments deposited by the plant on the hair can remain and stand out, which can lead to blue-green reflections. We advise you to wait at least 6 weeks after coloring with katam so that it is well faded before possible chemical bleaching.
