Origin: Quebec, Canada

Cosmetic properties: Antibacterial, healing, antiviral, antifungal and analgesic. Treats mouth ulcers and acne. Helps relieve joint pain and inflammation.

Properties therapeutic : Adaptogen. The Holy Basil is a very interesting medicinal plant for regaining strength and energy. Basil works on the immune, respiratory and endocrine systems.

The importance of buying local! Medicinal plants grown in Quebec are more expensive, but the quality is exceptional. Our herbalists dry them whole (with some exceptions), according to the rules of the art. The plants are grown here and do not have to travel (polluting transport) from far away to your home. Plus, they are always freshly dried. Paying a little more to encourage our local producers is worth the investment!
