Bentonite is a colloidal clay. It is Smectite mainly made up of Montmorillonite (80%) and clay, both responsible for its ability to retain water. Bentonite deposits are of volcanic and hydrothermal origin. Bentonite contains more than 70 trace elements.

Properties : Absorbent, purifying, oxygenating, healing and invigorating for the skin.
Use : In addition to the formulas at a concentration of 4 to 20%.
Uses: Masks, scrubs, poultices, soaps, toothpaste, scalp treatments.
Recipe :
Toothpaste (30 ml)
Mix neutral liquid soap and vegetable glycerin in a bowl. Add the bentonite and baking soda, then mix until a paste is obtained. Depending on your tastes, add powders for a more sustained texture or liquid for a more fluid product. An ideal toothpaste is a paste that stands without flowing. Add the essential oils of sweet orange, cinnamon, peppermint and wood tea. Pour in our 30 ml bottle with pouring cap, then label.
