Gelling agent of natural origin which makes it possible to produce transparent aqueous gels. The small granules disperse very easily without forming lumps, even when cold. Xanthan gum helps stabilize emulsions and provides a very pleasant slipperiness to preparations while slightly increasing viscosity.
For xanthan gum to use in your cream or lotion use regular xanthan gum. Otherwise it gives a sticky texture to your creams.
INCI : Xanthan gum
Properties: Binder, promotes viscosity, foam and volume, stabilizes emulsions, lubricant, suspending agent, thickener
Uses: Creams, stabilizing gels, scrubs, peels
Usage: Wait for the xanthan grains to completely rehydrate (approximately 5-10 minutes) by mixing regularly, then homogenize well by mixing with mini hand whisk or to battery.
Focus: 0.2 to 2% Gel formation: 1% to 2%
