What is a fragrance or a natural flavor organic ?

The fragrance and natural flavor are mixtures of natural and organic aromatic extracts concentrated in sunflower oil organic. Natural extracts are taken from plants, fruits, flowers or anything that can exist in the plant world, from source organic. Gaiacol, for example, a molecule from certain types of wood, or eugenol, extracted from cloves. The recipes are created by the manufacturer, so their complete compositions remain secret. Each organic matter has its combination of aromas. If we dissect the smell of a vanilla pod, there are more than 150 different odorous molecules. Nature is very complex and not everyone having the same sense of smell, not everyone gets along a smell. It is who makes the creation of fragrance or flavor very complex.

Our fragrances and flavors are Biological, vegan, gluten -free and allergen -free certified. However, it is advisable to do an allergy test before using a fragrance or flavor on a large surface of the body or on the face. Any product, even natural, can cause reactions in some people.

What is the difference between a fragrance and an essential oil?

A natural fragrance is a complex recipe designed by humans with a multitudes of fragrant molecules mixed together to recreate a known odor. Our fragrances have sunflower oil as support organic. They are safer for pregnant women and children. They are not irritating.

An essential oil is generally obtained by distillation. A mixture of olfactory molecules, it was created by the plant. It is very therapeutic and these effects are known. Some essential oils have contraindications, some are irritating and dermocaustic.

The fragrances are chosen for their smell while essential oils are chosen for their smell and for medicinal actions. There is little risk of using natural fragrances when it is necessary to select essential oils with care to avoid irritation and reactions.

In which formulas or products to use them?

As they are liposoluble (soluble in fats), they can be diluted in all products that contain an oily phase.

Natural fragrances and flavors can be used to naturally flavor your cosmetic formulas, make -up recipes, cleaning products or any other products that contain vegetable oils. They can also be used to flavor candles with vegetable wax, but you should not expect the candle to perfume the room when it burns. Natural fragrances are less powerful than synthetic fragrances, because they do not contain phthalates or formaldehydes, products that we want to avoid, to fix the odors. As for cold soaps, based on Naoh, the fragrance tends to evaporate, so you have to put a lot to have a persistent smell. Some fragrances are more resistant than others.

We did the test for you with a dosage of 12% with a soapy paste based on deodorized coconut oil and sunflower oil, the latter having a pronounced odor.

What is the difference between a flavor and a fragrance?

The taste organic And natural is used to give your products to taste (lip balm, lipstick, lubricant, tooth paste etc.) safe for daily use, it can also be used to flavor your products. Please note, the flavor is not edible in large quantities, for example for making chocolate, it is essentially used to flavor and give your cosmetic products a flavor. The fragrance is used only to flavor your products. She has a soap taste (and yes we have already taken the test).

We hope that this information has been able to demystify what a natural fragrance or flavor is organic. Have fun mixing them to create new odors.
