Powerful degreaser and multi-function cleaner, it is essential for making your natural and economical household cleaning products. Use in recipes for "Cake" dishes. Also called "natron" it is found in fossil deposits or in salt lakes. It was particularly widely used in ancient Egypt as an all-purpose cleaner and also in the mummification process.rocess.

Properties : Degreaser, cleaner, staining, purifying, softening water, increases the effectiveness of the detergent by its alkaline pH and it recurs wonderfully.

Uses

For scour a surface, put a little soda ash on a damp sponge.

To make a Liquid cleaner, dissolve 1 to 2 tablespoons of soda ash in 1L and spray on the surfaces to be cleaned. Add 2 tablespoons of liquid soap to create a degreasing product.

In your clothes washer for prevent tartar formation and whiten fabrics. Put 1 to 2 tablespoons (stable linen) to ½ glass (white linen) of soda ash in the laundry tank or directly in the washer.

To unclog a pipe,Pour 2 - 3 tablespoons of soda ash in the opening of the pipe. Leave on for a few minutes then pour 1 glass of vinegar and 1 liter of boiling water then use a suction cup to move the cap.

Do not confuse with

• baking soda is less alkaline, but with similar properties. Please note, unlike soda bicarbonate, soda ash are too aggressive for cosmetic use, they are reserved for household use.
• Naoh caustic soda is a lotmore alkaline and very corrosive. This is to be reserved for the manufacture of "house" soaps in cold saponification.
