Provitamin B5 is analogous alcohol of pantothenic acid, or vitamin B5. Fine white and odorless powder, soluble in water up to 0.5% concentration (maximum).
Inci: DL Panthenol Powder (100% pure)
Properties : Quickly penetrates the skin, moisturizing, softening, calms skin irritation, promotes the production of epithelial cells in the skin, chandelier hair and treats forked hair.
Use : Add to the aqueous phase or dissolve in the water before adding to the product.
Concentration: 0.02 to 0.5%.
Applications: Creams and lotions, shampoos and revitalizing, shower gels, makeup.
Recipe : Revitalizing cream for forked hair / 500 ml
325 g aloe gel 75 g Chamomile hydrosol 35 g Emulsifying vegetable wax (Polarwax) 50 g Argan oil 50 Benzoin dye drops 5 vitamin E drops 2 g Provitamin B5
Heat the first two ingredients over low heat. In a 2e Papon, heat all the rest over low heat. Add the potassium sorbate and provitamin B5 to the aqueous phase. Bring the two phases to about 40 degrees C then add the water to the fats, stirring with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes. Add the benzoin dye and oleoresin Rosemary. BUT TO TWO jars 250 ml, label, keep one cool and then the other in the shower. Apply on damp willed hair (after shampoo) and leave to act 5 to 20 minutes before rinsing in the shower.
